Technology adventure

Hi all,
I do like a challenge and I think this will be one for me! I earned my bachelors in biology about a million years ago, working with exotic animals in zoos, research centers and veterinary hospitals until I became a biology teacher as a second career about 13 years ago. I'm anxious to learn, nervous - as well. This is my first blog site, so hey I've already learned something. My students are always suprised when I tell them I text, but when my daughter moved to Brooklyn New York to pursue her music career I realized she would respond to texts more than phone calls or emails. I look forward to working with you and hope I can be of some help to you as well.

  1. Working with exotic animal had to be fun! It seem like a good prep for working with high school students!

  2. Hello Phyllis---
You have such an interesting background---my students are always wondering when they are going to learn about animals in different habitats, but our curriculum doesn't cover it in eighth grade.

Good luck with this course---I'm sure we are all in for a challenge! :-)
